Salary: £7.50 per hour (Please note: all Cable coordinators are paid on a flat rate)

The Bristol Cable is a media cooperative producing high quality journalism, community education and pioneering a new model of media ownership.
The Cable is in its fourth year of existence. From a volunteer-led start up, the Cable has become a thriving media organisation. You will be part of a team that is spearheading new ways of engaging with communities on and off line, and developing projects to achieve our ambitions.
Through our work we have developed recognition and partnerships locally, nationally and internationally with leading organisations and individuals such as the Centre for Investigative Journalism and the Global Investigative Journalism Network.
The Cable is now at an exciting juncture where we are developing our internal working structures and processes to strengthen our transition towards a sustainable organisation.
To achieve this, we are looking for a highly motivated person with commitment and vision to take on the Workplace Coordinator role. You will be immersed in a dedicated and supportive team.
Through this role the new coordinator will build thorough organisational governance and a cooperative and productive workplace environment: responsibilities in a range of areas:
- human resources
- governance development and compliance
- performance accountability and support scheme
- and office management

Induction: The person recruited for the role will be required to be available for induction sessions by arrangement between Monday 11th and Friday 22nd December.
Start date: Mid-January (negotiable)
