We’re looking for dedicated Cable members who want to help us spread our work far and wide in the City! 

We need enthusiastic Cablers to join our membership campaign drive and donate their time and energy to ensuring our survival!

Why do we need your help? 

Our survival relies on people like you who support us and donate to ensure we can continue our hard work. We’re passionate about the importance of local, independent journalism that’s community-focused and holds power to account. We need more members to keep going, so we’re launching our upcoming membership campaign to help us reach our goal. 

So, what are we looking for?

People who can donate a couple of hours a week to a varied voluntary role to help us recruit more members across the city. This might mean helping out at events, repping us on stalls, giving out papers in your local areas or helping us engage with new communities. Most importantly, you’ll be helping us reach our by increasing our membership. You’ll get a dedicated Cable Ambassador pack with everything you need and guidance from our volunteer coordinator- so you’ll be helped every step of the way. We’re looking for an initial 3-month trial period for this!
