This October marks Hidden Gallery’s ten-year anniversary! Over the last decade, Hidden has become one of Bristol’s best-loved galleries by exhibiting world-class artworks in the heart of the city. Since 2015, Hidden has been a labour of love with a simple vision: to bring original artworks by world-renowned artists into the lives of enthusiasts and collectors alike.

Hidden specialises in limited-edition works on paper created by the titans of Modern and Contemporary art, from Marc Chagall and David Hockney to Tracey Emin and Bridget Riley. Many of the artworks found on their gallery walls are also held in prestigious private and museum collections.

Hidden’s landmark exhibition, ‘A Big Bold Beautiful Show’, will celebrate their milestone in style with original artworks by Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, René Magritte, Salvador Dalí and more. Among the highlights are two screenprints from an important 1967 monograph, featuring ten of Piet Mondrian’s most iconic compositions. These works are also housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Also on view is a rare 1966 lithograph by L.S. Lowry. Titled ‘Village on a Hill’, it stands as one of the artist’s earliest and largest ventures into lithography. Hidden’s particular impression was sourced directly from the personal collection of Lowry and his heir, the late Carol Ann Lowry.

With their latest exhibition, Hidden continues to celebrate the legacy and vitality of printmaking. The collection may be new, but Hidden’s unwavering commitment to outstanding art remains the same.

Gallery Hours: Mon to Sat 10am – 5pm; Sun 11am – 4pm
