A Green Recovery: the Future of Transport in Bristol

‘Bristol Greenpeace invites you to take part in a short online Webinar on Saturday 17th October at 2:30 pm which we are organising ahead of the November budget. With unemployment rising and public spending at record levels, there is reason to believe the Government is taking an open-minded approach to its existing spending commitments and whether they continue to deliver value for money – including road building. Over the next few months, ministers are reviewing all existing spending commitments – which means we have a narrow window to change their minds and shift the billions into sustainable transport.
As part of our Greenpeace Transport campaign, we are inviting local campaigning groups to speak on local transport issues, particularly seeking out groups that are campaigning on the intersections of race and transport, and the accessibility of transport, and who understand the local context.
Full details of the participants will be posted here (https://greenwire.greenpeace.org/uk/en-gb/events/green-recovery-future-transport-bristol) in due course along with the required Zoom link.’
