The first Art in the City of 2021 is a talk by Candice Lin, who is currently working on a major new commission for Spike Island, comprising a virtual reality animation, flesh-like sculptures and a large-scale medieval trebuchet. Candice Lin’s practice utilises installation, drawing, video, and living materials and processes, such as mould, mushrooms, bacteria, fermentation, and stains. Wednesday 17 February 6.30pm. Tickets £5.45 inclusive. Art in the City is a series of international artist’s talks co-presented by Fine Art UWE Bristol and Arnolfini.
