In the summer of 1924 pioneer cinematographer Claude Friese-Greene set out from Cornwall with the aim of recording life on the road across the South West with a unique colour film technique. The 26 short episodes combine to form a ground breaking social document of life in Britain between the wars. This screening is part of Bristol Ideas’ #BristolFilm2021 in collaboration with South West Silents as part of Cinema Rediscovered 2021
