You are invited to an event that Bristol Link with Nicaragua (BLINC) is organising with Nicaraguan speakers, food and music on Monday 31st October at All Hallows Church vestry space in Easton between 7.00pm and 9.30 pm.
The event is in partnership with Sims Hill Shared Harvest and The Landworkers’ Trust.
The speakers are: Marlen Sanchez, head of the Latin American Institute for Agroecology and Erika Takeo, co-ordinator of the solidarity network Friends of the Agricultural Workers Association. They will be discussing Nicaragua’s approach to ecological and sustainable farming, facilitated by Freya Widdicombe from Sims Hill Shared Harvest. There will be opportunities for a Q&A.
A light vegan meal will be provided (included in the ticket price) using Sims Hill veg, to the accompaniment of beautiful live harp music from Emmy the Harp.
