July 2017 Members’ Meeting
Thursday 6th July 2017
18:30
Windmill Hill City Farm, Philip St, Bristol BS3 4EA
What should your media co-operative be doing?! All members are invited to the Bristol Cable’s monthly co-op meeting.
This is your chance to meet other members, share ideas, and help steer the Cable’s journalism, events and other activities.
Or if you want, you’re welcome to just sit back and hear what everyone has been up to. A Cable journalist will also give you an exclusive inside view into our latest investigative work.
This time we’ll focus on the Cable’s activities in South Bristol; members and friends from all over the city are welcome.
On the agenda…
- Lopresti Ice Cream Wage Scandal: Meet the journalists behind our undercover investigation into Bedminster Parade-based business at the heart of a city-wide scandal. They’ll update you on the progress of the investigation, and take Q&A
- When Totterdown got Demolished: in the April print edition of the Cable, we remembered the planning disaster that left scars to this day. But what did we miss? And what other South Bristol histories could be shared in your local media?
- How could we make the Cable a really useful resource for communities in South Bristol as well as the rest of the city?
We are really looking forward to seeing you there!
