OutStories Bristol in association with Bristol Museums present a fascinating range of talks highlighting LGBTQ+ stories and heritage:
- a leading 19th-century Bristol solicitor who vanished, possibly because he was gay;
- Mary Renault’s gay love story The Charioteer set in a fictionalised WW2 Bristol;
- the search for ancient trans Celts;
- two Bristol men convicted of sodomy in 1842 and transported to Tasmania;
- and a cheeky look at butts in art.
Saturday 24th February 2024 at M Shed museum. 11am to 5pm. Free.
