We’ll try and envisage a sustainable global supply chain from farm to fork that can enable ethical choices. We’ll discuss the changed nature of what we eat and how it is produced as opposed to what we need to be eating. We take a look at the projected cost to society of the diet and obesity crisis that’s coming down the tracks and share ideas to help change the way the world consumes.

With:

Catherine Withers, sustainable Yew Tree Farm campaigner.
Prof. Johnathan Napier, food and nutrition scientist.
& Joy Carey, author and director of the Bristol Food Network.
Our panel will be hosted by comedian Louise Leigh.

May 16th @ 7.30pm, Hen and Chicken, 210 North St, BS3 1JF.
