A radical words open mic and education event run as a collaboration between activist poets Pete the Temp and Book of Lilith.
17:00 – 18:30 // Technologies of Re-Enchantment
A workshop from award-winning author and comic Pete “the Temp” Bearder. How can we communicate heavy issues in a way that brings people in? This workshop is for writers of all abilities and genres who want to develop ninja skills to enchant, provoke and persuade. Pete is a former national poetry slam champion and his work has been featured on national and international radio and television.
19:00 – 21:00 // Open Mic
A lot has been happening in our world and we know you have something to say about it so… sign up to perform! Share your poetry, spoken word or song as we gather together – first come, first served. Get yourself on the line-up by emailing emmaako777@gmail.com or sign up on the night.
