This Government has launched an attack on nature. Bristolians, please stand with me on #WorldHabitatDay Monday 3rd Oct to show how much we care.
Why am I protesting? The Government has launched an unprecedented attack on nature. They are threatening to tear up laws that protect precious wildlife sites, weaken protections for nature in the planning system and may scrap proposals that would help farmers help nature.
I will not stand by and let this happen. I will make my voice heard because I care deeply about nature and wildlife. But I need your help. Nature needs your help: it needs us to once again stand up and show how much we care.
Let’s make it clear that we want to see nature protected. Our MPs need to understand that nature is not a negotiable luxury. That nature matters, that it underpins our lives, our economy and our wellbeing. Now more than ever, nature needs us.
