Our day will be spent together traversing a group experience known as The Work that Reconnects.
‘The Spiral’ of the Work that Reconnects is a framework created by deep ecologist, activist and beloved elder, Joanna Macy, and is potent medicine for these times. We’ll start by tapping into the deep well of our gratitude, then honour our pain, speaking honestly of the unravelling we are experiencing in our communities and systems. In confronting these sorrows, we’ll discover the depths of our caring, and realize we are not alone. We’ll emerge energized, able to ‘step forth’ with newfound clarity, conviction, and courage in service to all life.
We go forth motivated to work in solidarity for the protection of our world.
