Public Transport: Love it, hate it, we want to radically reimagine it. Join us to have your say in an interactive workshop, with free lunch!

Tickets are free but there are only 100 places, so please book and ensure you cancel your reservation if you can’t make it. Everyone is welcome.

The Bristol Cable is a pioneering co-operative newspaper, owned by thousands of people in Bristol. With a reputation for in-depth investigative journalism and reporting on solutions to some of Bristol’s biggest challenges, we aim to be at the forefront of the city’s conversations.

Recently we embarked on a year-long project, The Future of Cities, to uncover and investigate solutions relating to some of the biggest trends in the development of cities around the globe, including transport.

This in-person event, in which you can share your ideas on transport with us, will inform the stories we write. That’s because we believe in democratic, people-powered news where readers can have their say.

Conversation on the day will revolve around your personal experience of transport in Bristol. How does it work for you? How could it work better? And what changes would need to happen.

Come and help us create a vision of the future.

**We’ve chosen the venue for its proximity to the Bus Station (a 7-minute walk according to Google), but we understand that not everyone can afford bus fares and so we’re also offering a travel bursary for anyone who needs to rely on public transport or who would need their travel costs met otherwise.**

To discuss a bursary please contact us directly at sam@thebristolcable.org

The day will be facilitated by Emilia Melville of Praxis Research and West of England Shared Transport and Active Travel Network
