  • 01/03/18
  • 19:00 - 20:30

Why is everyone staring at their phones on the train? Why do online videos of kittens get so many views? Why is the internet full of misinformation? Why are depression and anxiety amongst the most treated health conditions?

At this Bristol Cable event, Marcus Gilroy-Ware will talk through his book ‘Filling the Void’  and answer these questions with a series of powerful arguments about the age in which we live.

Marcus Gilroy-Ware is a senior lecturer in digital journalism at the School of Film and Journalism, University of the West of England.

This event is co-hosted by UWE Journalism.
