More details: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/ion-costisanu-4

Ion Costisanu is from Moldova. His home village is 135km from the closest border crossing with Ukraine and many refugees have arrived, saying that they want to stay close to their country. He came up with an idea to renovate rooms in a disused building to house them. In order to do this, he decided to walk his commute from Bristol to Solihull, Birmingham in 3 and a bit days, which is basically the same distance as his village from the border. This involved 40+km days. On 25-28 March, he did the walk successfully, but is still below his target amount. Please help this project if you can. He is going to organise the renovations himself so all of the money will go directly on the project, which is overseen by a few friends and colleagues to ensure the money is well spent. There won’t be any wastage of money on overheads. Please go to the JustGiving page to find out more. Thank you. (Written by a friend of Ion.)
