An Interplay of emotion, motivation, and lived experience : stories bind, expand and transmit. Visual storytelling requires transmitter and receiver to work in tandem using mental models and metaphors, evoking primal myths and archetypes to cultivate empathy. Inviting the audience to remember that everybody has a story and creating a space in which people can tell their own.

On the 22nd and 23rd of October join us at The Cube for an experimental theater show!

Bringing people together in a temporary social group through collective experience and shared creative engagement, Raina Monteith has worked with four participants from Bristol in order to direct their own stories in response to the question: What Have You Lost?

– Love by Terreka Baptiste
– Harmonic Conversion by mÉlanffro Madziva
– Chopping With Elation by George Avil
– Duct Tape by Simon Sofowora

Through the use of actors, dancers, props, and costumes, my participants are able to give their stories some objectivity. They are able to process thoughts and feelings they may otherwise have kept inside, and step outside themselves to play.

The show is 2 hours long and will be Audio Described.

4 snacks that accompany each story made by Cloud & Chima (incl in the ticket price). – https://www.cafecloudywaaa.com/

Live score by Mr.Kit -https://music.hellomrkit.com/
