Organisers of the 2020 Bristol Diversity Awards will announce the shortlisted and final recipients of this year’s awards.

The event will be screened  at 7pm UK time this Saturday 5th December via both Bristol Television Youtube Channel and the BCfm Radio Facebook page.

Once again Award winning broadcaster Sherrie Eugene Hart and Bcfm Radio’s One Love Breakfast host Pat Hart will present the online event which has been shortened to accommodate an online tribute celebration for the much loved Christina Robino who died in October this year.

Nominees for the Bristol Diversity Awards include broadcasters Alex Beresford, David Olusoga and Briony May Willams alongside local heroes, businesses and organisations who have championed diversity in the city.

A number of special recognition awards will also be made by organisers E-Com Media including Former Bristol Rovers legend Carl Saunders for his work in combating racism in grassroots football and we will also find out if some type of acknowledgment is to be given to the controversial  “Colston 5” who represent the toppling of the Edward Colston statue earlier this year in Bristol

Media organisations Bristol247, The Bristol Cable, BCfm radio & Ujima Radio are media partners of the awards and Hargreaves Lansdown have sponsored the Volunteer award for 2020.
