6th edition out now!

Cable Community News

Hot off the press, issue 6 is out now!

This winter edition features content on the theme of “work-life balance”, with local voices, investigations, history, and visuals. Once again, we’ve tried to cover issues otherwise ignored by the local media.

This time around we’ve doubled our print run to 20,000 copies, to ensure even more Bristolians can get their hands on it! Distribution in locations across the city will take place between Monday 18th and Wednesday 20th. The map below shows the place closest to you (click the pin for name of location).

Make sure you keep up to date with daily updates of content on our freshly revamped website- to be launched early next week.

stamp-made possible by co-opAs the Cable’s aim to redefine local media goes from strength to strength we invite you to spread the word on social media tweeting #readthecable, and to become a member of the co-op.

Our next Members Meeting on Monday the 18th of January at 7pm, will be an opportunity to directly engage in decision making of the co-op, meet members, get your hands on a new copy and have a drink.

Finally, come celebrate the 1000+ hours put into producing this new edition on Saturday 23rd of January with fresh local artists, contributors, members and mates. (See here for tickets)
